The UFC 311 fight card is so stacked that the awesome lightweight bout between Grant Dawson and Diego Ferreira ended up on the early prelims.
Since his UFC debut in March 2021, Dawson racked up a promotional record of 10-1-1, with wins against Damir Ismagulov, Jared Gordon and olympic wrestling medalist Mark Madsen.
Brazil’s Ferreira is a true veteran who fought the likes of Dustin Poirier, Beneil Dariush and Anthony Pettis.
This lightweight matchup has ’Fight of the Night’ written all over it!
Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hill

The two former light heavyweight champions Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill are coming from title fight losses against reigning champ Alex Pereira and are in big need of a convincing win to get back on track.
Beside the title bouts, this might very well be the most dramatic and interesting fight on UFC 311.
Beneil Dariush vs. Renato Moicano

The main card lightweight bout between Beneil Dariush and Renato Moicano is a very interesting matchup. For years, Dariush has been regarded as perhaps the best lightweight to never get a title shot. However, back-to-back stoppage losses put a halt to his dreams of a championship fight and now he’s eager to get back to the absolute top again.
Since transitioning to the lightweight division, Moicano has established himself as a formidable contender. He’s currently riding a four-fight winning streak that includes names like Benoit Saint Denis and Jalin Turner.
Will Dariush stop Moicanos rise to the top or will the entertaining Brazilian take another big step towards a title shot? We will find out on Saturday night!
Jailton Almeida vs. Serghei Spivac

Top ranked heavyweights Jailton Almeida and Serghei Spivac will clash in a pivotal fight in the prelims.
Since moving to the UFC, Almeida has quickly become a rising star in the heavyweight division. He racked up six straight wins, five via stoppage, before losing to Curtis Blaydes in March 2024. In his last fight he submitted Alexander Romanov in the first round and is looking to extend his winning streak against the dangerous Spivac.
There’s a big chance that Almeida vs. Spivac won’t go the distance. Be sure not to miss this heavyweight clash!
Ricky Turcios vs. Bernardo Sopai

Swedish-Albanian UFC prospect Bernardo Sopai returns to the octagon for the second time on Saturday. The 23-year-old from Allstar Training Center won the bantamweight titles in Swedish promotions AFN and FCR and has made a name for himself as a fierce finisher. Now he wants to show the UFC crowd what he’s truly made of.
On Saturday, Sopai will take on the tough Ricky Turcios in a bout the marks the Americans fifth UFC outing. Turcios, who was submitted by Raul Rosas Jr. in his most recent fight, is determined to bounce back and return to the win column.
There’s a lot at stake in the bantamweight matchup in the early prelims. Make sure not to miss out of the action!
