Boxing promoter Eddie Hearns was not happy about the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. But even though he claimed that the fight was a ”stinker”, he still believed that Ngannou deserved another big boxing contest.
”Let A.J. (Anthony Joshua) go in and knock Ngannou out inside three rounds. Not a problem. Forget about Fury vs. Usyk – dead fight. No one’s interested in that fight at all. I cannot believe what I was watching. Fury didn’t even try. Ngannou is so tired, all he had to do was step on him.”
”See what happens when someone lets their hands go on Francis Ngannou properly. But listen: Props to Ngannou. But awful. Absolutely awful.”

Francis Ngannou could be ranked top 10
Ngannou’s striking coach at Xtreme Couture, Dewey Cooper, also believed Francis Ngannou will have more big fights to come. After Saturday night’s bout, the coach claimed that the former UFC champion will continue boxing and even enter the WBC rankings.
“Mauricio Sulaiman, the president of the WBC, said he’s going to rank him in the top 10 because he’s better than most of the heavyweights in the top 10. He said that (to Ngannou) in the ring. So absolutely, you’ll see him (box) again,” Cooper said.
“I felt like we won the fight by a round or two. At the end of the day, it didn’t go our way. But I’m proud of Francis.”
