MMA legend Jose Aldo recently returned to the ring for his third win in professional boxing.
This past Sunday, he headlined a Shooto Boxing event against Esteban Gabriel in Rio de Janeiro, and got away with another win as he defeated the Argentine via unanimous decision victory, earning 60-54 scores from all three judges following six three-minute rounds.

In September last year, the former UFC featherweight champion retired from MMA with one fight remaining on his UFC contract.
Aldo is still under contract with the leading MMA promotion but has permission to pursue opportunities in other combat sports.
”The King of Rio” made his pro boxing debut against Alberto Emmanuel Zambrano in February 2023 and won the fight via unanimous decision.
