Swedish UFC strawweight Josefine ”Thunder” Knutsson (8-0) will return to action in December!
According to Frontkick’s sources close to the situation, she will fight at a UFC card in Florida on December 14. At the moment there is no word on her opponent.
Furthermore, there is no venue or location yet announced for the card.
Josefine Knutsson is still undefeated
With two UFC fights in the books, the former K1 star and Muay Thai world champion is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter.
After racking up wins in DWCS and UAE Warriors, she made her UFC debut this past September. With a crushing performance she defeated fellow newcomer Marnic Mann via unanimous decision (30–24, 30–25, 30–27).
She was then scheduled to face Julia Polastri on March 2 at UFC Fight Night 238. However, Knutsson was forced to pull out due to injury and the fight was rescheduled to take place on June 15 at UFC on ESPN 58. Knuttson won the tough fight by unanimous decision.
“I’m pretty new. This is my second fight in the UFC, and now I’m 8-0,” Knutsson said after her second UFC win. “I want everybody to know that I’m here. I’m here to fight and give a war. I want everybody to watch out.”
