Swedish MMA fighter Josefine “Thunder” Knutsson is still undefeated after her second UFC outing. At yesterday’s UFC event in Las Vegas, the Swede won another unanimous decision in the world’s leading MMA promotion.

At the post-fight press conference, the Swede had a message for the stacked strawweight division.

“I’m pretty new. This is my second fight in the UFC, and now I’m 8-0,” Knutsson said. “I want everybody to know that I’m here. I’m here to fight and give a war. I want everybody to watch out.”

“I know that people will see more and more of me. It will get more and more aggressive.”

Josefine Knutsson wants three more fights in 2024

Knutsson made her promotional debut this past September with an outstanding performance. She defeated fellow newcomer Marnic Mann via unanimous decision with a crushing 30–24, 30–25, 30–27 on the scorecards.

Now the Swedish striker intends to stay as active as she possibly can.

“I want to get a date as soon as possible to prepare myself in a smart way,” Knutsson said about her next move in the promotion. “The perfect number of fights this year, I know it might sound hard, but I would love to have three more fights. That would be really cool.”
