Josefine Knutsson dominates Marnic Mann in UFC debut

Swedish strawweight sensation Josefine “Thunder” Knutsson just made her promotional debut as she took on fellow newcomer Marnic Mann in a short-notice fight at Noche UFC.

Knutsson began the fight brilliantly, doing well on the feet and scoring top position, scoring shots with her opponent grounded. Eventually Knutsson got to mount and landed elbows until the round ended.

In the second round Knutsson continued landing vicious strikes, overwhelming Mann on the feet and landing knees in the clinch. Knutsson took i to the ground once more, advancing to mount and landing strikes to end the round.

The final round saw Knutsson do well on the feet to once more secure the takedown and and land ground strikes. Knutsson continued landing effective ground strikes en route to a clear-cut unanimous decision win.

Josefine Knutsson is now 7-0

Knutsson is undefeated as a professional MMA fighter with a 7-0 record, and comes from a dominant win at DWCS a few weeks back. During her short MMA career, the former Muay Thai champion has competed in various promotions like Fight Club Rush, UAE Warriors and Road to UFC.

Mann has a 6-2 professional record, with four wins coming via stoppage. She has competed in organizations like LFA and DWCS before taking the fight against the Swede on short notice.
