Kevin Lee has opponent and date set for UFC return!

Former interim UFC title challenger Kevin Lee returns to the octagon on July 1 for his first fight in his second stint in the promotion.
He will face Rinat Fakhretdinov (20-1) in a welterweight bout. Fakhretdinov has won 19 straight fights and is 2-0 in the UFC.
Lee parted ways with the UFC back in November 2021 after back-to-back losses against Charles Oliveira and Daniel Rodriguez.

UFC on ESPN 48 with Kevin Lee
UFC on ESPN 48 is headlined by a middleweight bout between top ranked contender Sean Strickland and unranked Abusupiyan Magomedov.
Scandinavian fight fans have two extra special fights to look forward to as both Sweden’s Guram Kutateladze and Norway’s Ivana Siric Petrovic will fight on the card.
Kutateladze accepted a short-notice fight against Elves Brenner while undefeated Siric Petrovic will make her highly anticipated UFC debut as she takes on the more experienced Luana Carolina.

- Welterweight bout: Max Griffin vs. Michael Morales
- Women’s flyweight bout: Flyweight Ariane Lipski vs. Melissa Gatto

- Middleweight bout: Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Brunno Ferreira
- Welterweight bout: Kevin Lee vs. Rinat Fakhretdinov
- Featherweight bout: Joanderson Brito vs. Khusein Askhabov
- Lightweight bout: Guram Kutateladze vs. Elves Brenner
- Women’s flyweight bout: Ivana Siric Petrovic vs. Luana Carolina
- Heavyweight bout: Alexander Romanov vs. Blagoy Ivanov
