Since his departure from coaching, many MMA fans have wondered what former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is up to these days.
In a recent podcast, Nurmagomedov’s old coach Javier Mendez shed some light on the whereabouts of the former champ.
”Khabib is on another planet right now doing his family thing, taking care of his loved ones and being there for his family. He’s still here with the fighters, he’s still at home but he’s training all the time so I don’t want people to think he’s just with family, no he’s training the fighters he’s just not cornering and he’s not going to training camps,” Mendez said.
