Khamzat Chimaev defeats Gilbert Burns after an all out war

Khamzat Chimaev is special. The Swedish superstar just faced the #2-ranked Gilbert Burns in a bloody and wild fight that for sure will be a fight of the year candidate. The official decision? Khamzat Chimaev won with 29-28 after three tough rounds.

The victory marks Khamzat’s fifth consecutive victory in the UFC. ”Borz” now has a professional record of eleven wins and no losses.

Khamzat Chimaev dominated the first round, but Gilbert Burns came back strong in the second round and might very well have one that one. In the third round, ”Borz” came out strong and connected with many shots, and that was enough to get the win on the judge’s scorecard. All  judges scored the bout 29-28 in the favor of Chimaev.
