Swedish former ONE Championship title contender and decorated champion Magnus “Crazy Viking” Andersson returns to action as he takes on Oscar Axl ”El Demonio” Magallan at the Budo Sento Championships.
The fight will be for the promotion’s 155 lbs (70 kilo) title and takes place in Mexico City.
”Super stoked for this fight and put on a show for everyone,” Andersson wrote in a Instagram post.
”I am really hungry for this fight and thank you to all that is cheering my at home.”
Magnus Andersson is originally from the Swedish city of Halmstad but now trains at Tulum Muay Thai in Mexico. He is one of Sweden’s most accomplished Muay Thai fighters with numerous titles to his name.
His impressive resume includes:
ONE Championship title contender
Lion Fight world champion
MX Muay Xtreme world champion
Nordic champion Multiple
Swedish championship titles
IFMA world and European championship silver medals
In September 2020, Andersson challenged ONE Championship featherweight title holder Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy for the title. Eventually, he lost the fight via a third-round TKO.
