McGregor reportedly made more than $1,000,000 betting on Diaz!

UFC superstar Conor McGregor revealed Saturday that he planned to bet $500,000 on Nate Diaz to beat Jorge Masvidal in their boxing bout.

Diaz did indeed win the fight via majority decision, with 95-95, 97-93 and 98-92 on the scorecards, which made McGregor bag a hefty sum.

According to the Irishman, he would make $1,625,000 if his former rival won the fight.

McGregor vs. Diaz 3?

McGregor and Diaz fought two legendary MMA bouts inside the UFC cage.

Talk about a potential third fight between the two has persisted for nearly eight years, but with McGregor’s injuries and Diaz boxing career, it’s unlikely we will see them in the octagon any time soon.

The Irishman was scheduled for his UFC return a few weeks back, but was forced to pull out of the fight due to a broken toe. At the moment, there is no word on when, or if, he will return to action.
