UK Muay Thai prospect Mia Trevorrow is a highly interesting up-and-comer on the European fight scene. With a WRSA Muay Thai Championship to her name, she has already gained a lot of attention in her short pro career.
The 24-year-old Brit recently inked a deal with Swedish Muay Thai promotion MTFL and will make her debut in Stockholm on March 31.
In an exclusive interview with Frontkick, the British fighter opens up about about her way into the sport, fighting in MTFL and facing Swedish star in the making, Vilda Ekhorn.
”MTFL is a fantastic promotion, outside of my fights in Thailand I’m yet to step into the international stage so I’m really excited to put on a performance outside of my home country. Big stage, big opportunity that I don’t plan on wasting,” Trevorrow says.
Her opponent, IMAF world champ Ekhorn, is another young star on the rise, with the same big ambitions and determination to do whatever it takes to reach her goals.
”I’m excited to share the ring with a tough opponent. Pressure creates diamonds, and I believe I will bring my best performance yet to MTFL. Fireworks fight guaranteed.”
”I’ve come a long way in a very short period of time”
With a 4-2 pro record and experience from fighting and training in Thailand, as well as Liverpool’s 4 Corners Gym, Trevorrow has quickly established herself a fighter to be reckoned with.
Her performance in the ring does not let on that she’s new to the sport.
”I only started Thai boxing three years ago, at the age of 21. During a darker period of my life, my childhood friend and ONE Championship fighter Amber Kitchen bought me a pair of boxing gloves, left them on my doorstep and told me to get to her gym, touch gloves to help pick myself up. I started and never looked back.”

Mia Trevorrow is a former swimmer
Trevorrow has an athletic background as a swimmer and coach, which certainly helped to kickstart her Muay Thai career. In fact, she continues to train swimmers to sustain her life as a fighter.
With a humble approach to her fighting career, she gladly admits that she’s still green to Muay Thai, even though she has come a long way in a very short period.
”From my first N class fight 2 years ago, to big stages such as road to ONE and MTFL in two short years. I’ve got where I am over my short career with a great support network behind me, amazing coaching and working towards big dreams with every belief I can make the big stage in time.”
