Muay Thai For Life 4.0 – Full Fight Card, Start Time & How to Watch

On Saturday December 10, Swedish promotion Muay Thai For Life will return with their best card to date, as they take over Baltiska Hallen in Malmö.

In the highly anticipated main event, Youssef Assouik clashes with short notice replacement Nicolas Mendes for the Super middleweight WMC European title.

At MTFL 3.0 a few months back, decorated Danish-Moroccan star Assouik definitely put himself on the Swedish map as he dominated former ONE Championship title contender Magnus “Crazy Viking” Andersson. Now he returns to Sweden with the intention to become WMC’s European champion.

In the exciting co-main event, undefeated Swede Nicholas Bryant takes on ONE Championship contender, and UK No. 1, Jacob Smith in a fight with massive expectations.

MTFL 4.0 also features hometown hero Christopher Bajo, who will square off against rising prospect Mustafa Aboutaka, as well as Filiz Demirbek who takes on Livia Nygaard.

50 000 SEK bonuses

MTFL 4.0 will also have a total of 50 000 SEK bonuses on the line.

A 25 000 SEK Best Performance of the Night bonus, as well as a 25 000 SEK Most Spectacular Knockout of the Night bonus, will be handed out to two competitors, each getting the prize money on top of their fight purses.

Swedish fighting podcast Käftsmällspodden is putting up the bonus cash and will select the winners in association with Muay Thai For Life.

“We want to do our part for the growth of the combat sports scene in Sweden,” Andres Viracca, founder of Käftsmällspodden, told Frontkick a while back. “These fighters need to get paid and we hope that our contribution will incentivise them to put it all on the line.”
