Former ranked heavyweight Walt Harris received a one-year suspension and a $392.60 legal fee fine after a off-fight positive test on June 24.
He showed positive results for drostanolone and its metabolites and won’t be allowed to fight until mid-2024.
Harris last competed in June 2021 and currently rides a three-fight losing skid.

NAC has also overturned Mayra Bueno Silva’s second-round submission win over Holly Holm into a no-contest as the Brazilian tested positive for ritalinic acid in a pre-fight test. The fight served as the main event in a July UFC Fight Night card.
Bueno Silva claimed that the substance was an ADHD medication that she took for years.
“I stopped taking the medication the Monday of fight week. I’ve done this a lot of times, and then this time, I don’t know what happened,” Bueno Silva said in August.

Former ranked welterweight contender Daniel Rodriguez has also been suspended for six months NAC as he tested positive for ostarine, LGD-4033 and its metabolites in a test a few months back.
The 36-year-old will be allowed to return to the cage by the end of January next year. Rodriguez’s last fight was in May when he was stopped by rising welterweight star Ian Garry in the first round.
