UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi – Fight Card, Start Time & How to Watch

On Saturday October 21, UFC returns to Abu Dhabi with a card that has gone through many short notice changes.

In the new lightweight main event, we will see a rematch between reigning champion Islam Makhachev and featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. Makhachev was scheduled to face Charles Oliveira who was forced to pull out of the fight due to an injury, but Volkanovski stepped in on short notice for a rematch.

Khamzat Chimaev vs. Kamaru Usman

After back-to-back title fight losses to Leon Edwards, former welterweight king Kamaru Usman returns to actio at middleweight when he takes on the undefeated star Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev on short notice.

Chimaev was scheduled to face top ranked Brazilian middleweight Paulo Costa, but the latter was forced to pull out due to an medical issue.

The card also features fighters like top ranked light heavyweightsMagomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker, as well as undefeated flyweight prospect Muhammad Mokaev.

Sweden: The prelims starts at 16.00 CET on UFC Fight Pass. The main card begins at 20.00 CET on Viaplay.

US: The prelims stream on ESPN+ beginning at 10 a.m. ET. The main card begins at 2 p.m. ET and streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
