A light heavyweight bout between Johnny Walker and Ion Cutelaba is set for UFC 279 in Las Vegas.

No. 13 ranked Walker has one win in his last five bouts and is in desperate need of a victory. His opponent Cutelaba has one win, one draw and three losses in his last five UFC appearances.

Marina Rodriguez vs. Amanda Lemos

A fight between top ranked strawweights Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos is set for UFC 280.

No. 8 ranked Lemons has six wins in her last seven fights and just defeated Michelle Waterson on UFC on ABC 3 last week. No. 3 ranked Rodriguez rides a four-win streak that includes Amanda Ribas and Mackenzie Dern.

Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev

Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will fight No. 4 ranked Islam Makhachev for the vacant lightweight title on UFC 280.

Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev

Two of UFC:s biggest stars, Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz, recently made a verbal agreement to fight in the UFC 279 main event.

According to MMA Fighting, Jessica Andrade has been forced out of her UFC Paris bout with Manon Fiorot. Now, Katlyn Chookagian, who Andrade had replaced, is back in for the flyweight bout.

Zubaira Tukhugov vs. Lucas Almeida

Featherweight Zubaira Tukhugov is reported to fight Lucas Almeida at UFC 280.

Tukhugov was originally scheduled to fight Nate Landwehr on August 6, but that fight will not happen.

Beneil Dariush vs. Mateusz Gamrot

Top ranked bantamweights “Sugar” Sean O’Malley and Petr “No Mercy” Yan is excpected to fight at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi on October 22.

David Onama vs. Nate Landwehr

A fight between featherweights David Onama and Nate Landwehr is set to fight on August 13. Landwehr was supposed to fight Zubaira Tukhugov on August 6, but that fight is off.
