Josefine Modig puts on massive performance, submits Nina Back in the first round

Nina Back and Josefine Modig just made their pro debuts as they clashed on the undercard of Fight Club Rush 17 in Uppsala.

The fight started at a high pace. Back showed good striking, but Modig answered with good punches of her own before taking the fight to the ground.

Modig quickly took the back of her opponent and submitted Back with a tight rear-naked-choke to win her pro debut in the first round.

”The choke was really in,” Modig said in the post-fight interview.

Long-awaited pro debut by Josefine Modig

Modig was supposed to make her highly anticipated pro debut at Wolf Fight Promotion 5 last December. However, the fight fell through, but now she was finally back in the cage.

Tonight’s win was Modig’s second in the promotion as she defeated Janika Antinmaa at Fight Club Rush 12 back in May 2022.
