Noche UFC just took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and featured a flyweight title fight between rivals Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko.

Both fighters gave it all during five even rounds of action, both on the feet and on the ground, with Shevchenko. After the final bell, Grasso stood as the winner via split draw, where one judge scored the fifth round 10-8 to the champion.

”I’m the winner,” Grasso said.” I was doing a lot of damage and tried to submit her, so I think I did enough. Let’s see what’s next!”

”I think it was 3-2 to my fight,” Shevchenko said and claimed that the judges gave Mexico’s Grasso the win due to the Mexican independece day. ”In a fair fight the third would be mine.”

In the high profile welterweight co-main event, Jack Della Maddalena defeated Kevin ”Trailblazer” Holland via split decision with 28-29, 29-28 and 29-28 on the scorecards.

Josefine Knutsson dominates

The card also featured Swedish strawweight sensation Josefine Knutsson who made her promotional debut against fellow newcomer Marnic Mann.

The Swede dominated the fight from the start and won the fight via unanimous decision with 30-24, 30-25 and 30-27 on the scorecards.

Post fight bonuses

All the finishers were awarded with Performance of the Night bonuses at Noche UFC. Charlie Campbell, Roman Kopylov, Loopy Godinez and Raul Rosas Jr all got a $50 000 jackpot.
