Multiple-time Muay Thai champion and rising MMA star Samuel ”Sammon Decker” Bark returns to the cage tonight as top European MMA show OKTAGON 39 goes down with a stacked fight card in Munich, Germany.
Bark, one of the absolute hottest prospects in Sweden, is facing his biggest MMA challenge yet as he takes on undefeated 9-0 killer and reigning OKTAGON MMA lightweight champion Losene ”Black Panther” Keita in a non-title featherweight matchup.
Samuel Bark vs Losene Keita is one of the feature bouts on the main card.
Samuel Bark: ”After I knock this guy out, there will be no doubt”
Speaking exclusively to Frontkick.online ahead of the massive fight, Bark predicted a fast knockout despite going into the bout as a huge underdog according to the bookmakers.
“I don’t see the fight going all the rounds, it’s going to be a quick finish,” Samuel Bark said. “I want to show the world that I’m ready for the UFC. After I knock this guy out, there will be no doubt.”
Bark, known to be the most active pro fighter in Sweden, took the Keita fight on just over three weeks notice. While some fighters might consider that to be too little time to prepare properly, ”Sammon Decker” is used to fight every month and has already taken multiple fights on just a few days notice.
If you him, it’s all about that ”Muay Thai mentality”.
“In Muay Thai we used to fight every month, and I’m looking at bringing that mentality into MMA. Like one week, two weeks notice, I can fight. Short notice no problem. I’m always active” Samuel Bark told Frontkick.
