ONE: Jonathan Haggerty scores massive upset – face plants the champ!

British Muay Thai standout Jonathan Haggerty has did it – he knocked out ONE Championship Muay Thai Bantamweight title holder Nong-O Hama in a round that was the epitome of non-stop action!

Haggerty was on the hunt from the get-go, peppering the champ with shots that were both heavy and precise. The Brit scored a knockdown early and upon the fight continued he swarmed his opponent like a shark smelling blood in the water. Haggerty eventually landed a haymaker of a strike that completely face planted Nong-O – winning him the title!

Jonathan Haggerty Predicted KO win over Nong-O in ONE!

Speaking to Frontkick.Online preciously Haggerty had wanted to put his last performance behind him and seemed deaed-set on scoring a titel-winning knockout.

“It’s a big fight, I’m looking to get the knockout,” Haggerty said.

“I’m going to set myself a goal for this year. This year is the year when I’m becoming a champion. Fight as often as I can, stay in fight camp, stay dedicated. I’m always dedicated, but I’m just going to have a lot more fights this year. I’m going for gold.”
