On October 7, he is set for a massive fight as he takes on Mehdi Korai for the Cage Warriors Academy’s amateur middleweight title.
”Of course it’s a step up, a title fight in Cage Warriors Academy is still pretty big,” Kveldstad said and reasoned the fight is a good way to prepare to go pro. ”Me and my brother, we are going to Colchester, England, and take over the city!”
Ahead of the fight, the Swede trained together with seasoned UFC lightweight Marc Diakiese.
”I will face a guy who’s unpredictable, who goes in and swings, a brawler” Kveldstad claimed. ”Training with Marc, he is ten times better than him, technically, striking, he set’s it up with feints, not just rushing in. So it’s good preparations sparring with him.”
