Robert Whittaker claims he will show the best version of himself on Saturday as he will take on Khamzat Chimaev in one of the most hyped fights in the last couple of months.
”I couldn’t be more ready to beat him up,” Whittaker said. ”I don’t need motivation to beat him. I have all the motivation in the world.”
”I look forward to the test. I understand the hard fight Chimaev’s going to bring and oppose to me, but that’s how I get stronger.”

Robert Whittaker’s coach, Brian Doyle, can’t wait to see his fighter enter the ring in Abu Dhabi to do what he does best.
”Rob with the extra fire under his belt is just even a little bit better. He’s looking very, very sharp,” Doyle said. ”From the fans’ perspective, Khamzat is looking for Robert’s leg and Rob’s looking for Khamzat’s chin. It’s the dynamics of the bout. Can’t wait!”
With a win at UFC 308, Whittaker will position himself as a No. 1 title contender.
He won the UFC middleweight championship in 2017 after defeating Yoel Romero at UFC 213, but lost the title to Israel Adesanya in 2019.
