Hard-working Swedish professional boxer Goran Babic is on a roll!
At this past weekend’s WBC Mediterranean cruiserweight title bout, the Swede was able to secure a eight round TKO in the most important fight of his career.
”Indescribable feeling, thanks for the support and thanks to my fantastic team who fights by my side, ”Babic wrote on Instagram. ”WBC Mediterranean champion!”
The former Hammarby IF boxer had little time to prepare for the fight in Belgium, but was able to finish Kamel Kouaouch to win the WBC Mediterranean cruiserweight title.

Goran Babic is 8-1-2 as a pro
Goran Babic made his professional boxing debut in 2021 with a win against Milos Pavicevic and fought the majority of his fights in Serbia.
Before this past weekend’s WBC title fight, he clashed with rival Samo Jangirov in an eight-round cruiserweight Swedish Championship fight at ABP Fight Night 9 in Malmö, Sweden. The fight went the distance and ended as a split draw with 78-75, 75-77 and 76-76 on the scorecards.
