Swedish prospect Theodor Berggren to make Cage Warriors debut!

Theodor Berggren (6-1) is one of the most promising prospects on the Swedish MMA scene.
After delivering six first-round stoppage wins on the regional scene, Berggren is now ready to take the next step in his career. At Cage Warriors 181 on November 23, he will take on Justin Burlinson (8-2) in a welterweight bout.
”I am stoked to compeoutside of Sweden for the first time.” Berggren tells Frontkick about the upcoming fight. ”It will be a blast!”
Despite only having 10 pro fights, Burlinson already fought in Cage Warriors, Bellator and Dana White’s Contender Series. The 27-year-old will be the toughest test to date for Berggren.
Theodor Berggren headlined FCR 21
In his last outing, Theodor Berggren defeated Moe Ahmadi via a brutal first-round TKO at FCR 21 in Stockholm. The fight was Berggren’s first as a headliner in the promotion. The upcoming bout in Cage Warriors will be the Swede’s fourth assignment in 2024.
Cage Warriors 181 will go down in Newcastle, England, on November 23. The card will feature a featherweight championship bout between Harry Hardwick and Keweny Lopes.
