”Rountree is going to walk through Pereira”
MMA expert and former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen claimed that Khalil Rountree is a nightmare matchup for Alex Pereira.
“First off, let me give you the hot take of the day: Khalil Rountree is going to walk through Pereira,” Sonnen said on Good Guy/Bad Guy.
“All those scary punches and kicks that Pereira does, that’s where Rountree does his finest work. This is a massive disaster for anybody that thinks the UFC is trying to protect Alex. If they’re trying to protect Alex, somebody just made a big mistake.”
Muhammad Mokaev in car accident
Former UFC flyweight fighter Muhammad Mokaev has been involved in a car accident while visiting family in Dagestan. He’s not out of the hospital.
“I have been tested on high level at this stage of my career and I will be back stronger InshaAllah!” Mokaev wrote.
Mokaev fought out his UFC contract when he defeated Manel Kape by unanimous decision at UFC 304. Even though he’s top ranked and undefeated, the promotion did not resign him.
Paddy Pimblett wants Dan Hooker
Fan favorite Paddy Pimblett sees fellow popular lightweight Dan Hooker as a potential fight down the line. Hooker recently took a huge win against Mateusz Gamrot and entered the top five of the stacked lightweight division.
”Dan Hooker back in the top five: could be a nice fight for me in the future,” Pimblett said.
