Bellator card with Oliver Enkamp cancelled
The Bellator Championship Series: Paris card that was scheduled to go down on Nov. 16 at ADIDAS Arena in Paris, has been canceled.
Oliver Enkamp and Baissangour Chamsoudinov were reported to clash on the card, as well as a bantamweight title fight between Patchy Mix and Leandro Higo.
The fighters who were competing in the event will be rescheduled for later cards.
Peña accuses Pennington of underpromoting UFC 307
Challenger Julianna Pena accused women’s bantamweight champion Raquel Pennington of underpromoting their upcoming title fight at Saturday’s UFC 307.
“This is the most you’ve ever heard Raquel Pennington speak in the history of Raquel Pennington,” Pena said at Thursday’s UFC 307 press conference. ”I have to bring that out in her in order to get people interested in the fight because nobody else is interested in this block of wood here. She’s boring.”
Vieira: Harrison has not proven herself
At yesterday’s UFC press conference, Ketlen Vieira claimed that as good as Kayla Harrison is at judo, she hasn’t been proven in MMA.
“A lot of people tend to confuse things, and I think she has not proven herself,” Vieira said. ”She’s had one fight right now (in the UFC). I feel really prepared about this and I think this is the time. I feel confident that this is the fight that will take me to the title shot.”
