Tomorrow, Swedish featherweight strikers Tobias ”Bad Intention” Harila and Samuel Bark will clash at Cage Warriors 141 in London. In the latest episode of Swedish fighting podcast Käftsmällspodden, ”Bad Intention” opened up about the recently booked bout.
”It will be a crazy fucking fight. I rather die than lose,” Harila said.
Originally he was set to fight James Hendin at CW 141, but when Hendin got injured a frustrated ”Bad Intention” stood without opponent. Then Bark accepted to face him on short notice and everything changed.
”To be honest, I was a bit disappointed at first. But after a while, I got really excited, like more excited than I’ve ever been for any opponent,” Harila said.
Even though the Swedish striking derby is set for the preliminary card, it’s surrounded by a main event feeling.
”It feels like this fight can be the fight of the night, the fight of the year, so I would have loved to fight on Swedish ground in front of a Swedish audience, but I think it will be crazy in London as well,” Harila said.

”Bad Intention” has alot of respect for Bark for taking the fight at short notice, but he is confident that he will win the bout whatever happens. In fact, his confidence is so strong that he revealed his gameplan to the listeners.
”It feels like I’m going to war. It will be a great fight. My game is often to defend takedowns, keep standing and find that perfect punch. I’m good at scrambling, get to my feet and defensive chain wrestling, but Samuel is good at that too. We have worked on the same things,” Harila said and continued:
”I will fight in a different fashion this time. I will take him down, I will try to finish him with ground-and-pound and force him to scramble, and that will be very exciting.”
