”I have just been offered to coach this role again. I like it. It is full immersion which is needed. I see fighters lining up. I know whats ahead I been ready motherfuckers,” McGregor wrote.
A day after McGregor’s Instagram post, fellow lightweight Tony Ferguson stated on social media that he too was offered to coach the show. He also claimed that he had whished to coach against the former two-division champion.
“I’ve Been Asked To Coach On TUF Against Ol’e Fathead, or Anyone Of My Choosing If That Cake-Eatin’ Sum’Bish’ Wouldn’t Show *mack* … I Choose You McKnacker,” Ferguson wrote.
Back in 2011, ”El Cucuy” won Season 13 of TUF with Team Lesnar, while ”The Notorious” coached opposite Urijah Faber on Season 22 in 2015.
Both veterans had a rough time in the UFC. Ferguson rides a five-fight losing skid while McGregor is 1-3 since 2018.
