Major European promotion OKTAGON MMA has some of the absolute hottest European fighters on the roster. 

Let’s take a closer look at the absolute best fighters in OKTAGON MMA right now!

15. Dan Vinni

Winning his promotional debut with a massive first-round submission, UK’s Dan Vinni (23-17-2) catapulted himself to a No. 6 spot on the light heavyweight rankings.

The 35-year-old has three straight MMA wins, as well as a bare-knuckle boxing victory at BKFC 27, in the past few years.

Bulgaria’s Lazar Todev (8-5) made his OKTAGON debut in April with a unanimous decision win over Adam Palasz. The victory skyrocketed him straight into the top 3 of the heavyweight division.

13. Mateusz Strzelczyk

With three straight stoppage wins in OKTAGON, Polish light heavyweight Mateusz Strzelczyk (14-13-1) recently climbed 10 (!) spots on the promotion’s rankings.

The No. 5 ranked veteran will face No. 4 ranked Rafael Xavier at OKTAGON 44 in June.

12. Gustavo Lopez

No. 1 ranked bantamweight Gustavo Lopez (13-7-1) might have lost his title fight against Jonas Mågård last month, but is still one of the absolute top names in the division.

The former UFC fighter won his OKTAGON debut in flying colours in December 2022, as he submitted Filip Macek in the first round, and will hopefully be back soon to get his second win in the promotion.

11. Ronald Paradeiser

No. 1 ranked lightweight Ronald Paradeiser (16-8) has three straight victories in the promotion.

The 25-year-old’s next assignment is former Bellator fighter Andrew Fisher, who makes his promotional debut on June 17.

10. Hatef Moeil

No 1. ranked heavyweight Hatef Moeil (14-4) is undefeated in the promotion with three straight wins.

The 36-year-old has not lost a fight in more than five years, and last fought at OKTAGON 39 in February.

9. Mateusz Legierski

Mateusz Legierski (8-1) is undefeated in OKTAGON with five wins. Currently ranked at No. 3 in the lightweight division, ”Dynamite” is likely one or two wins away from a title shot.

Legierski will take on No. 7 ranked Matej Kuznik on OKTAGON 43 on May 20.

8. Alexander Poppeck

Alexander ”Ironside” Poppeck (16-4) is undefeated in the promotion and on a roll with three straight wins.

Fighting out of Munich, Germany, the No. 3 ranked light heavyweight previously tested himself in both Dana White’s Contender Series and the 2022 PFL Challenger Series.

Poppeck is set to take on No. 1 ranked Pavol Langer on June 17.

7. David Kozma

David ”Pink Panther” Kozma (31-12) is a real veteran in OKTAGON MMA, with a promotional record of 11-1.

The No. 1 welterweight from Czech republic will face No. 3 ranked Alex Lohore on May 20.

6. Kaik Brito

Reigning welterweight champion Kaik Brito (16-4) is 4-1 in the promotion and has back-to-back wins against No. 6 ranked Andrej Kalasnik and No. 1 ranked David Kozma.

The Brazilian 26-year-old made his promotional debut in 2021 with a win over Gabor Boraros.

5. Mate Sanikidze

Featherweight champion Mate Sanikidze (9-2) is undefeated in the promotion with three straight wins. He was scheduled to defend his strap against the undefeated Losene Ketia, but was unfortunately forced to pull out of the bout.

Riding a six-fight winning streak, the Georgian has not lost a fight since 2015.

4. Patrik Kincl

Middleweight champion Patrik Kincl (26-10) is undefeated in the promotion with two-straight wins. Before competing in OKTAGON, ”The Inspector” fought in KSW where he faced the likes of Roberto Soldic.

On May 20, Kincl will take on the tough light heavyweight champion Karlos Vemola who moves down in weight with the intention to reach double champ status.

3. Jonas Mågård

Reigning bantamweight king Jonas Mågård (15-5) is 3-1 in the promotion and comes from a second-round finish against Gustavo Lopez.

The 30-year-old Danish fighter looks for a quick return to action and wants to fight at the upcoming Manchester card.

”I want to stay active this year. I was having a long lay-off and that’s not normally me,” Mågård said at the OKTAGON 41 post-fight press conference.

2. Karlos Vemola

OKTAGON light heavyweight champion Karlos ”Terminator” Vemola (34-6) is a true veteran in the promotion.

With seven straight wins, the light heavyweight champion is now set to take on middleweight champion Patrik Kincl for the middleweight belt in a superfight at OKTAGON 43 on May 20.

Double champion Losene Keita (11-0) is the king of the lightweights and recently added a featherweight interim title to his name.

On the brink of breaking through internationally, we hope to see the undefeated fighter clash with reigning featherweight champion Mate Sanikidze before eventually moving on to an international promotion.

Alongside KSW and Cage Warriors, OKTAGON MMA is the biggest MMA promotion in Europe, hosting events in countries like Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

On November 4 the organization intends to break new ground as they host their first-ever event in the United Kingdom, at the AO ARENA in Manchester.

In March, the promotion announced a brand new broadcasting deal with global platform DAZN.
