Yet another bout has now been revealed ahead of Allstars Fight Night (AFN) 1! Out sister site Maximum Sports has now dropped another scorching hot match up set for AFN 1: an amateur bantamweight meeting between rising star Liam Pitts and underrated prospect Fabian Long! The event goes down at Allstars Training Center in Stockholm on July first.
Pitts fights out of Allstars and will undoubtedly have a home field advantage. He is currently slated to face Enes Ahmemulic at Fight Club Rush 16 next saturday – his second bout with the promotion. Pitts is currently 1-0 in FCR, coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Noah Persson at FCR 11 last year.
Long may be lesser known compared to pitts, but that wont be for much longer. The young prospect holds impressive wins over top-tier competition like Daniyal Shamkhalov och Raham Kafaei – two figthers who have represented the Swedish national team in amateur MMA. If he adds Pitts’ name to his list of wins he will surely step into the spotlight.
AFN 1 will be the first of three events scheduled for this year. Allstars coach Mohammed Babadivand will act as promotor for the event and aims to give young prospects a solid platform to compete on.
“It will be different to the rest of the Swedish promotions, we want to take MMA to the next level,” Babadivand said.
