UFC 278 fight CANCELLED prior to weigh-ins

Unfortunately, tomorrows stacked UFC event has lost a bout prior to the weigh-ins. Miranda Maverick recently announced that her opponent Shanna Young was hospitalized and that the fight is cancelled.
”Fight is off guys. Shanna Young is in the hospital from illness (assuming from weight cut) and I wish her a full and fast recovery. We were ready, super prepared, and improved so much for this camp,” Maverick wrote on Instagram.
In a new Instagram post, Maverick called out flyweights Maycee Barber and Joanne Wood.
