UFC 278 salaries revealed: This is how much Edwards banked for the spectacular KO-win!

According to salaries released by the Utah Athletic Commission, obtained by MMA Fighting, Leon Edwards banked 350,000 dollars for his massive knockout win against Kamaru Usman at UFC 278. Usman earned 500,000 dollars for the five-round fight. Neither of the top-drawer welterweights had win bonuses in their contracts.

Former featherweight king, now bantamweight contender, Jose Aldo earned 400,000 dollars in his fight against Merab Dvalishvili on the main card. That’s more than Paulo Costa and Luke Rockhold in the co-main event.

A list of the UFC 278 salaries can be seen below. However, these numbers don’t represent the contestants total earnings. Some incomes from sponsorship, PPV-bonuses and post-fight bonuses are not publicly shown.
