Just as promised, UFC 300 delivered tons of entertaining MMA action that left no fans disappointed.

With three title bouts, and 11 former and current champions, the Las Vegas crowd and undoubtedly got enough bang for the buck to last another 100 events!

Check out Frontkick’s Tobias Lindkvist’s five biggest takeaways from UFC 300!

Deiveson Figueiredo is going for gold

Former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo is looking sharp in his new weight class!

Hats off to Cody Garbrandt who looked good in the first round, but when the fight took to the ground in the second, it was all Figueiredo.

After defeating Rob Font and former champion Garbrandt, it looks like the 36-year-old Brazilian is well on his way to get a shot at the bantamweight title. It will be very interesting to follow him in the next few years.

Moicano means business

Brazilian lightweight Renato ”Money” Moicano is not easy to put away!

After being inches from getting knocked out in the first round, the highly entertaining Moicano turned things around in the second and eventually TKO’d the big Jalin Turner with heavy ground-and-pound.

With the win, the durable Brazilian most likely enters the top 10 in the most stacked division in the UFC.

Perhaps even more entertaining than the actual fight was ”Money’s” post-fight speech where he announced that he’s starting a new podcast called ”Show me the money”, and invited Joe Rogan as his first guest.

Give Kayla Harrison a title shot

UFC 300 was supposed to be PFL lightweight champion and Olympic judoka Kayla Harrison’s ”coming out party” and first step on a quick path towards a UFC title. And oh my God, how she did deliver!

Dominating the fight from the start, she was able to find the submission in the second round and proved that she belongs in the best promotion in the world.

With the win, the bantamweight division finally has its new star, and I can’t quite frankly see anybody in the division being even close to beating her.

”I want my title, that’s why I came over here,” Harrison said. ”By the end of the year I’m going to be a UFC champion.”

Bo Nickal is halfway to a title shot

Bo Nickal’s own expectations of himself are higher than anyone else’s.

The undefeated 28-year-old seemed unsatisfied with his second-round submission win against Cody Brundage, the first of six fights to not end in the first round.

”I’m a little bit embarrassed by the performance,” Nickal said after the fight.

The American wrestler is 6-0 at the moment and believes he will fight for the title in another six fights. Even though he intends to move slowly, it’s time to put Nickal against a ranked opponent!

Max Holloway is the best in the world

I’m lost for words.

Of all the bad motherfuckers out there, Max Holloway is by far the baddest to ever step into the octagon.

Period. His performance was just impeccable. Perfect violence, knockout, one second left of the fight.

Who can stop Pereira?

When Alex Pereira decided that Jamahal Hill presented no danger, he stepped in with a short left hook and made the rest look easy. The former Glory Kickboxing champion is a fantastic fighter with no clear enemies in the light heavyweight division.

As he stopped former champions Jan Blachowicz, Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill the division presents no real threats for the 36-year-old Brazilian. Maybe he should move up to heavyweight to become the promotion’s first three-division champion?
