UFC 300 was supposed to be PFL lightweight champion and Olympic judoka Kayla Harrison’s ”coming out party” and first step on a quick path towards a UFC title. And oh my God, how she did deliver!

Dominating the fight from the start, she was able to find the submission in the second round and proved that she belongs in the best promotion in the world.

With the win, the bantamweight division finally has its new star, and I can’t quite frankly see anybody in the division being even close to beating her.

”I want my title, that’s why I came over here,” Harrison said. ”By the end of the year I’m going to be a UFC champion.”
