Muay Thai World Champ Vilda Ekhorn to make pro debut against Norwegian veteran!

Muay Thai for Life (MTFL): Unite Against Cancer will me a landmark event for the leading Muay Thai promotion in Northern Europe, and goes down at Partille Arena in Gothenburg on October 28th. It’s previously been known that Swedish super prospect and World Champ Vilda Ekhorn will make her debut at the event and now we know who will serve as opposition: Norwegian veteran Anne-Line Hogstad!

The bout was announced via MTFL channels.

“Finally I got to sign my first pro fight contract with Muay Thai For Life! This has been one of my goals since I think my fifth fight when I first met (MTFL founder) Patrick [Thomsen] and he told me that someday I will fight on his card. Finally two years and 15 fights later it’s time! October 28th in Gothenburg. I’m so excited to share with you who my opponent is but it’ll have to wait,” Ekhorn wrote on social media.

Won the World Championships in Bangkok

Ekhorn recently bested Allstars prospect Vanessa Romanowski at STHLM Fight Night. Her biggest achievement by far occurred this spring at the Muay Thai World Championships in Bangkok, where she won gold for Team Sweden after several excellent performances.

Hogstad is a two-time ISKA World Champion, two-time Scandinavian K-1 Champion, three-time Norwegian Kickboxing Champion and Scandinavian ISKA Champion – to name just a few merits.

The Norwegian competed at the very first MTFL where she defeated Uma Galli and currently competes under the ONE Championship banner where she is top five ranked in both Kickboxing and Muay Thai and holds a win over Alma Juniki.
