Zebaztian Kadestam doesn’t expect Soldic-fight to go the distance: ”Get chills when I think about it!”

Swedish former ONE welterweight champion Zebaztian Kadestam is set for a huge fight as he will take on former KSW double champion, Roberto Soldic on May 5.

The Croatian superstar Soldic is one of the most hyped fighters outside of UFC at the moment, which suits the Swede perfectly.

“Everybody knows him,” Kadestam told ONE about the fight. ”He has all the hype, and I want it. I would fight anyone in the world, but this is a winning situation for me. I have a lot to take from this.”

The explosive welterweight claimed that he will be disappointed if the fight goes the distance.

“This is going to be crazy, I promise you that. Man, if nobody is going to sleep in this one, I’ll be disappointed. I get chills when I think about it!”

Zebaztian Kadestam: ”My style can match up good to his style”

In another interview, with South China Morning Post, the Swedish powerhouse claimed that facing a hyped opponent can pay off big-time, if he gets his hand raised.

“Man, I know he’s winning a lot of fights and he’s doing a good job, so I’m not one to say that he’s a hype train. No, he’s a good fighter. But I believe that I can beat him, and that’s like an extra bonus that he has a lot of hype,” Kadestam said.

He also believed that even if Soldic is a dangerous opponent, he is very beatable.

“I’ve seen his style and I believe my style can match up good to his style.”
