Västerås Fight Club’s Alexander “The Good Guy” Lindgren just fought Quinten “The Hybrid Viking” DeVreught at CAGE 55 in Helsinki.
The fight started with good striking and good knees in the clinch from both combatans. In the later minutes of the round, Lindgren took over more and more with a solid takedown and good shots.
In the second round, it was all Lindgren’s show. He took the fight to the ground early and tried to find a submission finish. However, in the end it was his relentless ground-and-pound that made the referee stop the fight, and declare Lindgren the winner by TKO.
Alexander Lindgren is back in the winning column again
In the post-fight interview, the Swede said the fight went according to the plan.
“Feels good. But I got more tired than I thought I would. He defended the chokes well,” Lindgren. “The game plan was to go in and mix the takedowns with the striking.”
With the dominating performance, Alexander Lindgren moves to is 4-2 as a professional MMA fighter.
