Emil Näsman is out of his fight against Kim Norén at Muay Thai For Life 7.0 on March 31. That’s according to Näsman himself.
Yesterday, he lost a tough fight against former teammate Christopher Watkins at the Swedish Championships and got a medical suspension.
“For you who wanted to see me at Muay Thai For Life next weekend, I got a fucking medical suspension so I can’t do that fight,” Näsman said in an Instagram story.
“Maybe that’s just as good, I’ve been hit by many right hands in my last fights. Time to train hard and rest my brain so we will return stronger. Because Emil fucking Näsman is going to the top incase you forgot. Let’s fucking go!”
At the moment there is no word on if MTFL are looking for a replacement for Näsman.
Emil Näsman got hit by heavy right hands
Näsman was not able to deal with Watkins boxing and eventually lost the semi finals via unanimous decision with 3-0 on the scorecards.
“He hit me with many ones and twos,” Näsman said. “You fought good Christopher, nothing but love. I wasn’t good enough this time. Couldn’t follow his boxing. Shit happens, we fight on.”
