Fight Club Rush 19 just ended in Stockholm!

The card was headlined by a three-round bantamweight title bout where Finland’s Tuomas Grönvall clashed with Spanish fan favorite and FCR veteran Hecher Sosa.

Tuomas Grönvall takes on Spanish fan favorite Hecher Sosa. After a high paced start, Grönvall got a hold of his opponent and pressed him against the cage. Sosa defended well and landed knees and uppercuts to the mid section. When they separated, Sosa circled around his opponent before landing a flying knee in the last seconds.

Grönvall was able to take the fight to the ground in the second round, but found a tight submission attempt standing up. He continued to search for the finish on the ground but Sosa escaped and ended up on top. The Spanish fighter ended the round in dominant fashion with several good knees.

Grönvall put on pressure in the third round but Sosa fought smart as he kept the Finnish fighter at bay with his sound boxing. After three rounds of action Sosa stood as the winner via unanimous decision and is the new FCR bantamweight champion.
