Fight Club Rush reveals opponent for fan favorite Nabbe Malki

Fight Club Rush just dropped a huge fight for their upcoming event FCR 16 in Västerås, as fan favorite Nabbe Malki will return to action to face Ebrima Faal in a welterweight bout.

Malki recently called out Faal and the promotion apparently gave him what he asked for.

“FCR, make this fight happen and you’ll see the best striking matchup of 2023,” Malki wrote on social media.

Last summer, Stockholm’s Malki made his professional debut at FCR 13 in his hometown and sold hundreds of tickets by himself, creating an incredible atmosphere in the arena.

Faal has back-to-back losses against Oskar Sivard and Theodor Berggren and comes into the fight looking for his first pro win.

Current fight card for FCR 16

The card will also feature the second-ever MMA fight for Liam Pitts, who made his MMA debut against Noah Persson at Fight Club R 11 in May last year. The bout went all three rounds and after the final bell, the young debutant stood as the winner via unanimous decision.

At FCR 16 the young bantamweight will test himself against Gothenburg’s Enes Ahmemulic.
