The 2022 IMMAF European Championships will take place in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy, between Tuesday September 27 and Saturday October 1, with the tournament draw taking place on Monday September 26.
The championships include tournaments for Seniors and Juniors, with 16 weight divisions each. The competitors will span from atomweight to lightweight for women, and from strawweight to super heavyweight for men.
As usual, Sweden sends a strong team to the international tournaments, and has good chances to win medals in several divisions.
This year, the Swedish National team features 13 fighters. The squad includes experienced combatants like outstanding strawweight prospect Josefine Modig and heavy-handed heavyweight Robin Larsson, as well as new, hungry talents like Hanna Palmquist and Robin Kohzadi.
