However, it seems like Chris ”The Action Man” Curtis will step in and replace Till in the co-main event, as the organization’s official website lists him as ”The Joker’s” new opponent.
”Superman, Action Man.. it’s all the same when the punches start flying. See you guys in London,” Curtis recently wrote on Instagram.
Chris Curtis made his UFC debut on November 6, last year, and knocked out Phil Hawes in the first round. He then went on to fight Brendan Allen on December 4. He won the bout via TKO in round 2, and was also awarded with the Performance of the Night bonus.
On April 9, ”The Action Man” was scheduled to fight Dricus Du Plessis, who’s currently ranked No. 14, but had to pull out of the bout due to a wrist injury. In his last fight, on June 25, Curtis defeated Rodolfo Vieira via unanimous decision.
The 34-year-old made his professional debut in June, 2009 at RFL: Maximum Impact. He lost the fight via split decision to Brandon Pinkston. All in all, Chris Curtis has a professional record of 29-8.
