UFC star Darren Till is out of the fight against Jack Hermansson due to injury. The middleweights was scheduled to fight in the co-main event at UFC London on July 23. This was first reported by ESPN.
However, it seems like the UFC found a replacement in hyped Chris Curtis.
Curtis is currently on a eight fight win streak and last defeated Rodolfo Vieira by unanimous decision on June 25. the 34-year-old has a record of 29-8, with 3-0 in the UFC. He made his UFC debut in November 6, last year against Phil Hawes, and won by a impressive first round KO.
The UFC London card will be headlined by a exciting heavyweight fight between rising star Tom Aspinall and Curtis ”Razor” Blaydes. With Darren Till out, the co-main event looks to be a fight between Swedens Jack Hermansson and Chris Curtis.
The event will also be Swedish MMA star Alexander ”The Mauler” Gustafsson’s highly awaited return to the octagon. He faces No. 11 ranked Nikita Krylov.
The card also features a lightweight fight with fan-favourite Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett who will take on Jordan Leavitt, as well as a women’s flyweight bout between hyped Molly McCann and Hannah Goldy.
