Josefine Knutsson is ready for a new fight against Caroline ”Taz” Gallardo from Chile. The fight will happen on August 12 at Combate Global in Miami, Florida and was first reported by Sebastian Vendel-Martinez at Maximum Sports.
Undefeated Josefine Knutsson dominates every opponent
The Swedish strawweight is undefeated with a professional record of 4-0. She started her pro career with three straight wins in the Swedish MMA organization Fight Club Rush. In her last fight, at ‘Road to UFC’, she defeated South Korean grappler Ye Dam Seo via unanimous decision victory, with a pair of 30-27 scorecards as well as one 30-26.
“If I’m gonna be honest, I’m not completely happy with my performance. I know I can do better, but I should bring everything in this fight so no excuses. I’m gonna go home and work harder. But I want my contract in the UFC. Because I know, if I get a contract in the UFC, I will bring my everything, I will step it up – I’ll have no choice. So that’s all I’m waiting for,” Josefine Knutsson told Laura Sanko in her post-fight interview.
Her opponent, Caroline Gallardo, has a professional record of 7-4 and is currently riding a three fight win streak. In her last fight she took a TKO-win over Stéphanie Page at a Combate Global event.
