At this past weekend’s UFC event, Amir Albazi won a razor-thin split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47) over Kai Kara-France in the flyweight main event.

One who was bitter about the judges’ scorecards was middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, teammate of Kara-France, who took to Twitter to go off on the scoring.

“I tweeted that before even seeing the scorecards because I knew them two will fuck it up!!” Adesanya wrote. “How many times will they rob athletes of their moments of glory, of their money, their livelihood for their family? Fuck them cunts, they need to expire quickly and go. Mike Bell was the only judge to score this properly, the other two deff need to disappear.”

Kai Kara-France: ”Hats off to Amir”

Kai Kara-France took the loss better than his teammate as he commented on the razor-thin split decision on the UFC Vegas 74 post-fight show.

“This is the sport at the highest level,” Kara-France. “It’s a game of inches and I know I’ve said that before but it’s subjective to what the judges are scoring. If they’re scoring damage, if they’re scoring control, aggression, all of these things.”

“I was feeling confident when they were calling the announcement but hats off to Amir. I’m not going to be one to dwell on it.”
