Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski made his final UFC appearance at UFC 303 this past Saturday. He fought a total of 42 fights in the promotion.

UFC CEO Dana White claimed that the 45-year-old had his last fight with the promotion, and Arlovski confirmed the statement in an Instagram post Monday.

“My chapter in the UFC is closed, but my book is not finished yet,” Arlovski wrote.

The former title holder did not reveal if he will pursue his fighting career elsewhere.

Arlovski made his UFC debut in 2000 and quickly became a prominent figure in the heavyweight division. Five years later he finally won the heavyweight title by defeating Tim Sylvia.

His UFC career includes victories over notable fighters such as Fabricio Werdum, Frank Mir, and Travis Browne. Well into his 40s, he remained a competitive UFC heavyweight, often facing top-tier opponents.
