In January, No. 4 ranked Calvin “The Boston Finisher” Kattar defeated Giga Chikadze in dominant fashion with a unanimous decision win. However, in his last fight he fell short against Josh Emmett at UFC Austin, in a fight he lost by a razor-thin split decision. Besides the victory over Chikadze, Kattars most notable UFC wins came against Dan Ige, Jeremy Stephens and Shane Burgos.
No. 6 ranked Allen last fought in March with a first-round TKO over veteran Dan “The Hangman” Hooker. The British featherweight rides an impressive eleven-fight win streak that includes all nine of his fights in the UFC. His most notable victories came against Sodiq Yusuff, Nik Lentz, Mads Burnell and Makwan “Mr. Finland” Amirkhani.
The UFC Fight Night event on October 29 also features a bunch of other interesting fights. Veteran Edson Barboza will take on Ilia Topuria in a featherweight bout.
We will also see heavyweight veteran Andrei Arlovski clash with Marcos Rogerio de Lima, as well as a light heavyweight bout between Dustin Jacoby and Khalil Rountree.
