The next UFC women’s flyweight title contender will most likely be decided in a matchup between Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot. The pivotal bout will take place at UFC Atlantic City March 30, which will go down at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The fight was announced Thursday by the promotion.
Both flyweight fighters are undefeated in the UFC and have a combined professional record of 23-2.
French striker Manon Fiorot is ranked at No. 3 in the stacked division and currently sports a professional MMA record of 11-1, with eleven straight wins. She made her UFC debut in January 2021 and holds six wins in the promotion.
During the past two years she defeated the likes of former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian and former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas.
No. 2 ranked Erin Blanchfield is a star in the making and is currently riding a nine-fight winning streak. The 24-year-old made her UFC debut on September 18, 2021, and so far fought six times in the promotion.
During the past two years she defeated the likes of Molly McCann, former title challenger Taila Santos and former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade.
Besides the pivotal flyweight fight, UFC Atlantic City also features a strawweight matchup between Loopy Godinez and Virna Jandiroba.
