Swedish-Georgian lightweight Guram Kutateladze is back for a new fight.
According to freelance journalist Marcel Dorff, Kutateladze will face Jamie Mullarkey on June 3 in Las Vegas. UFC has not yet announced the lightweight bout.
Guram Kutateladze is 1-1 in the UFC but is considered to be one of the absolute best lightweights outside the rankings. In his 2020 promotional debut he defeated the current No. 7 ranked Mateusz Gamrot via split-decision in a bonus winning fight.
“The Georgian Viking” was scheduled to compete at UFC 283 in January, but was forced to pull out of the fight against Thiago Moises.
Mullarkey has won four of his last five and has back-to-back wins against Michael Johnson and Francisco Prado.
