Top ranked middleweight Sean Strickland was added to the UFC 4 video game in last week’s update. The formidable striker, who’s fought some of the best fighters around, has been given a four-star rating and a punching power of 87/100.
Hilariously enough, beloved official UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer, who’s also featured in the game, has a punching power of 91/100. He’s also more accurate and has better footwork than Strickland, according to the game makers.

Bruce Buffer has been working with the leading MMA promotion since 1996. His catchphrase is “It’s time!”, which he announces before the main event of the UFC.
As a 13-year-old, Buffer started practicing martial arts. During the years he’s been active in judo, Tang Soo Do and kickboxing. He was forced to give up kickboxing at 32 after suffering his second concussion.
Besides being one of the absolute best and most well-known ring announcers in the business, he is a world-rated poker player on the professional circuit. In 2010, the casino hotel Luxor Las Vegas named their poker room after Bruce Buffer.
He’s also the half-brother of equally famous boxing and professional wrestling announcer Michael Buffer who’s known for his catchphrase: “Let’s get ready to rumble!”.
